  1. A teddy bear can be mass produced but naming it gives it such a unique sense of being part of you and your story. I still remember a teddy bear I had as a kid. I lost it in a fire but it was such an important part of my childhood even after that (all my passwords as a kid involved this teddy bear’s name, LOL).

    • Wow, what a touching story. It’s sad that the bear was lost in the fire, but it’s wonderful that it stayed with you through memories and even in your passwords. You’re right—once you give a toy a name, it truly becomes part of your story and your heart.

  2. Oh this is adorable! I am a full-grown adult, and I love a good cuddly teddy bear. I still have a bunch from my childhood displayed in my room, and I’m still thrilled when my husband brings home a new one on Valentine’s Day, or any random occasion! There is something so special about a fuzzy, soft, cuddly teddy bear with soft eyes and a sweet smile.

When I was very young, less than 10, my dear grandmother gave me a really nice teddy bear. He was really well made, dressed in a nice outfit, and just beautiful. I can’t remember why, but I named him Grant! I still have him.

This is a great, fun, comprehensive list. Love that you create different categories that cater to people who may want a specific theme.

And how sweet that your husband surprises you with new ones, that makes each bear even more special. I’m so glad you enjoyed the list and the themes—I wanted it to be fun and inspiring for teddy lovers of all ages.
