Easy Felt Alien Sewing Pattern
An alien gives you freedom to ignore the usual rules. No alien color is correct, and no two aliens have to look alike. Green may be the classic choice, but blue, pink, orange, purple, or several colors together can be much more fun.

Can I resize the monster and alien patterns to make a matching set?
Yes. You can print both patterns at a smaller or larger percentage to bring the characters closer in size. When making them much smaller, simplify tiny facial details because they can become difficult to cut and sew neatly.
How can I make the monster and alien look like they belong together?
Repeat one or two details on both characters. You might use the same accent color, matching eyes, similar stitching, or the same felt for small details. They will still have different personalities while looking like a coordinated pair.
Should I stuff small felt characters firmly or keep them soft?
Keep the stuffing fairly light, especially around narrow areas and small details. Too much stuffing can distort the outline of a simple felt character. Add small amounts at a time until the toy feels soft but still holds its shape.
